[ 4.0 stars ] "My child wears a size 4 in Asics shoes and a 5 Venga fits but very snugly. The toes will curl a bit, wearing a very thin sock liner, but they are uncomfortable to walk and stand in. Of course, rock climbing shoes are not meant for that. They are stiff and rigid to help feet stay put on tiny protrusions on a wall or outdoors! So expect some discomfort. It's normal. She does wear them with thin socks (most climbers will tell you not to wear socks) --- she feels that the back does not irritate her skin if she wears the thin socks. Great product! ..."
