The guy I was with had Kenetrek boots, which are comparable. The Lowa is better on ankle support. The Kenetrek has a very aggressive sole which some like better. I probably averaged about 2-3 per week in these boots, more in the winter, less in the summer. They are my go to backcounty boots, very supportive but not too heavy. Any cons?
