I am not sure if it's a cheaper pair, it does say red wing on the sole and on the inside but I paid to get what was online not something else. Check to make sure you get what you ordered. ..." The soles are easily worn ( concerning but not a deal breaker for me). I wear these 8 hours a day on concrete and they are easy on my feet.
