The first pair lasted for 6.5 years and they were definitely ready to be retired when I replaced them with the last pair.Unfortunately the last pair only made it ~2.5 years before the leather between your toes broke in half on one of them - The soles didn't even have any sign of wear when this happened and the rest of the shoe was in great shape ..." They're like a baseball glove - they smell great, look great, and they form to you and get darker as you wear them. They end up like a mitt for your foot that you've had for years! ..."
