I wasn't expecting comfort from a 4 inch heel but the shoe is structured quite nicely to keep your weight distributed so there isn't too much pressure on your toes. The soft leather is perfect but beware! If you have feet that are even slightly wider than size B width (and I mean slightly!), you will have some issues getting these shoes on.
